05:53 pm - Jordin Sparks Is Still a Virgin, But Is Also a Big Fan of Fefe Dobson
( here's an article that says what happens in the video )In other words, Jordin's growing up, but not too fast. As she sheepishly put it while raising her purity-ring-wearing hand, "I'm 19! Hi!"
Turns out Jordin's connection to the song goes way back. As an eighth-grader in Arizona, Jordin immediately fell in love with Dobson's song and image. "It was so cool because she looked like me! And I was like, 'Whoa! That's so awesome!' " Sparks gushed.
Fefe's music even followed Jordin as she joined the retail workforce. "I remember working at my job ... folding jeans and hearing that song play every day, like, five times a day. And I was like, 'This song is so awesome!' And that was three years ago! I bought the single and everything!"
So when album producers began pitching tracks to Sparks, the American Idol was pretty freaked out that her personal idol had offered up her song as a potential album cut. "I was like, 'Are you kidding me? Are you kidding me? I can sing this song, really? You sure she's not gonna be mad?' It was just really cool to be able to do it."</div>

05:57 pm - Lillix Are Back, Release New Single For FREE
After running into some issues, Lillix are back and they put their new song "Dance Alone" up for free download on their website.
I'm not president of the Lillix fanclub, but their second album Inside the Hollow was so damn catchy, and they're giving shit away for free so why not help them with some publicity. (If relevance is brought into question, I guess I could say they're that band that did that "What I Like About You" cover that was everywhere a few years ago.)

01:03 pm - Avril Lavigne Goes Shopping in Beverly Hills; Wears Something Other than Abbey Dawn
Stepping out for a retail romp, Avril Lavigne was spotted shopping with a friend at Barneys New York in Beverly Hills on Saturday (July 18). The 24-year-old Canadian singer looked a little larger in the tummy than usual, already leading to rumors of a baby on the way. ( some more pictures.... )
Tbh, I just wanted to hear what the ONTD fashion police thought of the look. I don't think she looks pregnant, personally. Also, her fans are totally celebrating the fact that the pink streak in her hair is gone, lol.

These are for people who like Paramore-style stuff; I don't listen to anything hardcore. These are indie bands/artists that need a lot of support, so buy it if you like it. I know Letters to Cleo don't fit that definition, but they are doing a spring tour, hence the reason I felt the need to upload their stuff.

11:03 am - a writing rant...
I've been so busy beta'ing and writing my original fic that I've completely forgotten about those few days I wrote fanfic myself (from 03-06, apparently). So, this morning, I wake up to some really in-depth reviews from someone who read my stories. She was totally dissecting them and I was embarrassed because I *know* they're shit, and I know I can write better than that, but I've yet to muster the will to go back and edit them or to even just delete them because, hello, I'm a nostalgic whore. I dunno.
I'm always happy for reviews, don't get me wrong, and I'm totally fine with constructive criticism, which this was. It was more like... she was looking at a picture of me in high school and giving me fashion advice, but I'm like, Hey, I don't even own those jeans anymore!
I dunno... I dunno...
